'Girl child' advocate, Misimi Isimi, who educates teenagers on personal hygiene is preparing to launch a magazine named "Ade and the wheelie bin" and a documentary on general environmental sanitation.

Meet 9-year-old girl, Misimi Isimi who advocates for African teenagers

She is the president of Eco-kids green club, a club that provides children with the strong foundation on environmental stewardship and instilling environmental consciousness as a way of life starting from their tender age.

Isimi recently celebrated the strength and resilience of a female child, using martial arts as a campaign to stop the discrimination of a girl child on "international day of a girl child".

The 9-year-old was part of the organizers of the sensitization walk campaigning to free sanitary pads for public secondary school girls between the ages of 9 to 15.
