A young woman reportedly lost her pregnancy after she was beaten up by one of her neighbours, as 'payback' for her husband's cheating.
A 27-year-old woman identified as Mrs Sandra Edodo, reportedly lost her pregnancy after she was beaten by her neighbour who she claimed tried to give his niece to her husband as a secret lover.
Edodo who resides at the Kasumu Ogunmakinde Street, in the Afolabi area of Akesan, Igando, was beaten by her Liberian neighbour identified as Tobias Omombo, after she confronted him with a story about how he was trying to give his niece to her husband.

According to reports, Omombo hit Edodo on her stomach which led to bleeding, and even though her husband was present, he didn't make any move to stop the assault on his wife.
She was rushed to the hospital where it was confirmed that she had lost the pregnancy, the matter was then reported to the police who arrested Omombo.
Speaking on his arrest, Omombo said Edodo annoyed him with her accusations, claiming he never made any of such arrangements and that he had no idea if his niece was in anyway involved with her husband.
Omombo has since been arraigned before the Ejigbo Magistrate's court, where his trial was halted because they said he was facing similar charges in court.
