Popular English singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran, has rescued five orphans who were living on the streets and sleeping inside canoes in Liberia.
NAIJ.com gathered that the singer who was moved to tears after he heard the sad story of one of the orphans identified as, JD, refused to live the boy’s side until he was safe.

The pop star who has been heavily involved with this year’s Comic Relief effort (a charity organization) visited Liberia to participate in the charity work.

After meeting JD who was sleeping in a canoe with no covers, Ed Sheeran refused to leave without securing safety for the boy and his four friends.

He said: "It really does not feel right leaving at all, my natural instinct is to put them somewhere in the city in a hotel until we can get them sorted. I don't think we should go until that's sorted.”
Ed Sheeran went further to urged and encouraged others to donate to Comic Relief aid in other to save more lives.

Upon meeting the singer, the little boy revealed that he wants to become a president, so he can provide food and shelter for those who don’t have the privilege.
