A 12-year-old identified as, Abigail Igbe, has been mercilessly beaten after she was accused of stealing N200.
Igbe who works as a house help for a cosmetic seller in Lagos was allegedly beaten by employer’s husband.
The little girl’s story was shared by an Instagram user who buys cosmetics from her employer.
According to the Instagram user, she asked the cosmetics to tell her what happened to the girl after she noticed bruises on her body.

In the user’s post, she explained that she accused the employer of child abuse but she refused to hear what she had to say.
The user also shared some of the photos she took of the girl. From the photos, it was clear that it was not the first time received such abuse from the couple.
She was covered in bruises both old and new ones in the photos.
