I was forced to withdraw money from ATM at gunpoint by police officers - Nigerian student claims (photos)

A Nigerian man identified as, Lana Akintola, has accused some officers of the Nigerian police force of allegedly robbing him at gun point.

Akintola took to social media to narrate his ordeal with police officers who allegedly forced him to withdraw money from his account for them.

According to him, the police officers pulled him over on the road and started harassing him.

He narrated that they started searching his phone claiming that he was a con-artist because he had a celebrity’s photo on his phone.

Akintola was later forced by the officers to get into the car at gun point.

He said the officers allegedly drove him to a teller machine where he was ordered to withdraw money with his own ATM card.

The student who was frustrated by the incident noted that he knows complaining about his situation would not solve anything.
