Two paramedics become heroes after helping a woman deliver surprise triplets (photos)

- Two South African paramedics who helped a mother in labour deliver triplets have been praised as heroes

- The two, identified as Stanley Zulu and Siboniso Khuzwayo were on shift on Saturday night when they received an emergency call to help a pregnant woman deliver

A South African mother who gave birth late last week to surprise triplets has led the country to showering paramedics who helped her deliver her babies in praises.

Led by Stanley Zulu a paramedic who works for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), promptly reacted to a call during the early hours of Saturday.

Initially, a normal labour was expected of 27-year old Sthandiwe Madlokovu.

However, they were altogether astonished when it emerged that Sthandiwe was having triplets, and not twins as anticipated.

Reports further indicated that the now mother of four had already birthed her first baby by the time the medical response team arrived.

She was admitted at KNC Health Center alongside the triplets after the procedure.
