Businessman and politician, Alhaji Mustapha Amasco has predicted the 2019 general elections will be a walkover for the party.

Amasco, made the statement when he led a delegation of the party's supporters to the Katsina state governor, Aminu Masari on Friday, April 6.

According to him, there have been rain of countless democratic dividend in Dutsi local government area, where he hails from.

NAIJ.com gathered that thousands of delegation of people from the local government accompanied the businessman to pay a solidarity visit to Governor Masari.

Receiving them, Governor Masari expressed his limitless joy over the visit and described the people of Dutsi as wonderful, discipline and above all God fearing.

He said what happened in Dutsi in terms of project was a tip of the iceberg, stressing we would do more with a view to transform the area.

He further directed the people of the area to itemize their needs in order of priorities for presentation in the State Executive Council with a view to releasing funds for immediate commencement of more projects.

The governor also said that Dutsi was his second home and he would not relent in transforming the area and every other part of the state.

The delegation expressed their unconditional support to the programs and policies of administration of Governor Aminu Bello Masari.

They declared that their support on the second term bid of Governor Masari was unreserved, unconditional and unwavering.

According to Amasco, the state government has rehabilitated and constructed many schools and roads within Dutsi local government adding that “the roads linked our communities with the neighbouring state of Jigawa and some parts of Niger republic.”

He assured the governor that he need not visit the area for electioneering campaign, stressing this was the only time they were recognised as a people.

Meanwhile, the Tunisian association for future of science and technology, has presented special award of excellence to Governor Masari.

Presenting the award recently at the Tunisian city of Monastir, the association said the award was based on the governor's immeasurable outstanding support in the development of innovation in science and technology.

The award was received on behalf of the governor by Musa Abdu Dankama, the director education resource center in the state ministry of education on behalf of the education commissioner, Professor Badamasi Lawal Chiranci.
