The deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, has condemned the recent explosion which rocked the home of the leader of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ukehe, Enugu state.
Ekweremadu said such attack by some unknown individuals on the home of John Nnia-Nwodo is evil, ugly and outrageous.
The deputy Senate President in a statement released by his spokesperson, Uche Anichukwu, called on security agencies to apprehend the culprits.

Stating that the criminal act which is unusual in the southeast will not be acceptable, Ekweremadu said the perpetrators must be brought to book immediately.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that the home of Nwodo was attacked on Sunday, April 29, was bombed by some hoodlums.

It was gathered that an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was thrown into Nwodo's compound by some unknown persons.
The explosion was said to have destroyed part of his building, shattering windows and ceiling of his house.
Meanwhile, police in the state said no life was lost and that the explosion caused a minor damage to the building.
