- Chelsea were beaten 3-1 by Tottenham Hotspur at the Stamford Bridge last weekend
- And the Blues former defender Frank Leboeuf claims they have been performing poorly recently to have a reason to sack Antonio Conte this summer
- The Stamford Bridge side are one spot outside of the Champions League spot with eight points behind Spurs on the log
Chelsea players are losing deliberately to ensure their coach get sacked this season according to the Blues former defender Frank Leboeuf.
The Premier League titleholders remain eight points outside of the Champions League spot on the log after losing 3-1 to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend in their EPL encounter.
Having won the EPL title in his first year at the Bridge, Antonio Conte has been unable to replicate his side’s this term – reasons he has been facing heavy criticisms from the club’s executives.
However, he is expected to leave the club for an unknown destination once the 2017-18 league season ends in May, with PSG and Italy topping the list of interested teams looking out for him.

Meanwhile, with seven games to the end of this season, Antonio Conte’s men must ensure they win all their game and hope their contenders drop points to stand a chance to play in the UEFA elite competition next season.
While they remain hopeful of winning this year’s FA Cup in May to ensure they don’t finish trophiless in their campaign this period.
It is remarkably parallel to Chelsea’s catastrophic season two years ago that cost Jose Mourinho his job.
Leboeuf, who played for the Stamford Bridge club between 1996 and 2001, says the fans are at the receiving end of the conspiracy theory of whatever is going on at the Bridge.

"It’s a lack of respect for the fans and the club, both on the manager’s part, because he’s already packed his bags, but also from the players," Leboeuf said.
"We saw it with Mourinho, it seemed like some of the players were almost losing on purpose so the manager can get sacked as quickly as possible.
"I knew a team that was hungry for trophies, wanted to win.
“Now, it doesn’t seem that way. One year you win the league, the next it’s a mess."
Chelsea will face Southampton in the semifinal of the FA Cup later this month in a bid to reach the final for the second time in a row, after losing 2-1 to Arsenal in last year’s final.
If they win that tie, they will come up against either Manchester United or Tottenham at Wembley.
