- Jose Mourinho seems to have found a suitable replacement for out of favour Luke Shaw and it is Monaco defender, Djibril Sidibe
- The 23-year-old has been been relegated to bench due to his manager's lack of confidence in him
- Meanwhile, the Portuguese international also has on his wish list Danny Rose of Tottenham in case Sidibe's deal fails to pull through
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly planning to sign France international Djibril Sidibe as Luke Shaw’s replacement ahead of the 2018-19 league season.
The former Southampton defender has been relegated to the bench under the reign of the Portuguese born manager, who claims the left back doesn’t possess the quality he wants in his player.
However, with United planning to beef up their squad to contend for titles in the coming season, the manager has been drawing up the list of players that might join the club this summer.

Meanwhile, the out of favour defender might be joining Tottenham Hotspur reported to be interested in the England international.
Shaw joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2014 in a four year deal worth £33.75 million but his supposed place has been taken by 32-year-old Ashley Young.
According to Le10Sport, Mourinho, will be hoping he can seal a deal for the defender with his current club, Monaco this summer, but he isn’t the only option United manager is considering for the left back position at Old Trafford.
Also on the radar of the manager are Tottenham's Danny Rose, Juventus's Alex Sandro and Celtic wonder kid Kieran Tierney are also all on United’s radar.
Manchester United could make a double swoop on Monaco with Fabinho also catching the eye of those at Old Trafford.
Young remains Mourinho best option at the left back position with Shaw and Matteo Darmian both down the pecking order.

With Young’s career gradually winding down, the former Real Madrid manager is planning to reinforce his department, but this time with a younger player.
Luke Shaw is only 22 but is rumoured to have had a heated row with Mourinho last month with the former Southampton man asking ‘Why are you always picking on me?’
And on his decision to freeze Shaw out of his squad, Mourinho explained that: “I wanted to defend better.
“I wanted more personality in the team, because many, many times I felt [Nemanja] Matic was an island.
“He was surrounded by a lack of personality, a lack of class and a lack of desire.”
United are currently second on the English Premier League table as they travel to the Etihad Stadium this weekend to battle Manchester City.
They crashed out of the UEFA Champions League at the knockout stage, but have a chance to win a title at the end of the season if they stay strong and focus in the FA Cup.
