President Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha, has declared that the president deserves some accolades for his United States outing.

Aisha Buhari shared her message on her verified Instagram page, @aishambuhari.

“Dear President, you deserve some accolades,” she wrote as she shared some of photographs taken during Buhari’s meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House, Washington DC earlier on Monday, April 30.

The pictures the First Lady shared included the viral photo of President Buhari signing the visitors' register with Trump looking on, where both leaders were shaking hands and another one depicting the the two Presidents and members of their teams.

The message instantly went viral on both her Instagram and Twitter pages with Nigerians reacting to her post in diverse ways. Check out some of the reactions below:

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday, April 30, described President Muhammadu Buhari's performance at the meeting with US President Donald Trump as embarrassing saying he did not project the economic interests of the country.
