A joint session to discuss the political tension in the country will be held between the Senate and the House of Representatives on Tuesday afternoon, June 5.
The decision to hold the meeting was taken following a separate meeting which was held by some members of the National Assembly on Monday, June 4, The Cable reports.

This development follows a previous report by NAIJ.com, that leaders of the south and middle-belt condemned the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal executive for their flagrant disregard for the legislative arm of government.
The South and Middle-belt Leaders Forum stated this when a high level delegation of the group led by first republic information minister, Chief Edwin Clark, visited the leadership of the Senate in Abuja.
