Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has been spotted anointing members of a church during service on Sunday, June 4. The Imo state governor also talked about his plans to develop the roads in the state.
Okorocha and his wife, Nneoma Nkechi, were joined at the church service by other state dignitaries.
The governor was spotted anointing members of Victory Chapel which is located at the government house in Owerri, Imo state.
According to the governor who addressed the church members, he plans to begin a construction on the dualizaton of Egbu-Awaka-Mbaise and Orji-Ikeduru-Isiala Mbano-Okigwe roads.

He revealed that the idea had come to him while he was driving by the road on his way to the church. He stated that his goal is to extend the road.

The governor who noted that he doesn't know how he would get the money to work on the project, added that he believes God would provide.

He said: “This morning I drove myself round town and when I got to Shoprite junction where the dualization ends,I decided that,the road development should be extended.Therefore,by the grace of God,we shall resume,with immediate effect,the dualization of Egbu down to Mbaise road and Orji straight to Okigwe….I don’t know where the money will come from but by faith,we shall accomplish it.”
