36-year-old Omotola Moshood has dragged her husband to an Ikorodu Customary Court, for lying about his marital status 10 years after marriage.
She alleged that her husband pretended that he was no more in a relationship with his first wife, but she later found out the truth.
My husband deceived me into marrying him
She said: “My husband told me that his first wife was always having still births and so he decided to marry another wife. My husband lured me to marrying him; he spoke with a sweet mouth, saying that he had left his first wife until I heard that she has four children for my husband. When the other woman also discovered that I am married to her husband, she usually cursed me and insulted me on phone."

Omotola Moshood added that: “I left my husband since six months ago because her curses have affected me spiritually and I fell ill. I want this marriage dissolved and I urge this court to grant me the custody of my son because he took him from me and I don’t know his where about.”
The 48-year-old estranged husband, Rasak Moshood, did not deny his wife’s claims and also urged the court to separate them, saying: “I didn’t tell her the truth because I liked her and I want her to marry me, now she wants to leave me because she is dating her church shepherd.”
Moshood pleaded with the court to separate them.
