DailymailUK reports that the Hurstville Boys Campus of Georges River College introduced this controversial policy to allow Muslim boys to instead put their hand on the heart as a greeting. Well, this might cause an uproar as many think students should be able to at least shake hands with their teacher or the principal, or receive a greeting from a visitor to the school.
Australia's Grand Mufti Ibrahim Abu Mohammed shakes hands with women as did his predecessor, Fehmi Naji El-Imam, and Islamic schools do not even have the policy.
