- A Kenyan girl spent her valentines day sharing love from Roysambu to the deep alleyways of Nairobi town
- Njeri Muthaka dressed casually for the occasion with a poster that hung on her neck saying that she was offering free hugs
- And hug people she did by the end of the day, the number of hugs was a few tens from a thousand!
A Kenyan girl, on Valentine's day, chose to spread the love a hug at time - she had, by the end of the day, hugged 877 Kenyans!
She started the hugs from Lumumba drive, Roysambu, where she lives. Then she proceeded to town where the majority of hugs were dished out.

She hugged among others, boda boda guys, pedestrians along Uhuru highway and construction workers.
She was also dishing out flowers and chocolate to complete strangers, a poster on her chest boldly reading, 'free hugs, love is free'.
While she was busy on the streets in the company of her friends, most Kenyans were dressing in glaring scarlet outfits, celebrating a love that they know so little of.
How nice of her!
