A woman was recently arrested in Abia state for reportedly supplying criminals with the armour needed to carry out their deadly operations.
A woman identified as Ngozi Emmanuel, was arrested alongside two deadly robbers identified as Chinedu Nwachukwu and Michael Ukpai, who allegedly terrorise the people of Abia state.
According to reports, Ngozi supplies Chinedu and Michael with the guns they need to carry out their nefarious activities within the state.

Speaking on the incident, the Abia state commissioner of police, Mr Leye Oyebade, said:
“About 2030hrs, a report was received from the duo of Onyebuchi John and Joy Igwe, both of 35 Ibenekwu Street and 64 Emonye Street all in Aba respectively, that they were attacked in their residence by a gang of three armed men."
Oyebade said the criminals stole phones and other valuables from their victims, and even shot them in the legs. He said:
“The prompt response of Ndiegoro police to the scene led to the arrest of one of the hoodlums, Uche Echela, with a bullet wound. His arrest led to the subsequent arrest of Chinedu Nwachukwu, Michael Ukpai and Ngozi Emmanuel.”
Some of the stolen items including one blackberry phone and a Tecno phone, with different sim cards, were recovered from the gang.
