In recent times, many are left wondering why traditional practices have not scrapped the use of masquerades at local functions due to the way some of them constitute nuisance of the streets.
Over the years, masquerades are believed to possess a unique ‘spiritual power’ and also made to do things that the ordinary cannot in his wildest imaginations think of doing.

However, these days’ people get to see all sorts of masquerades dressed in different costumes as they storm the street to extort money and valuables from passersby. Some even get mercilessly beaten for no reason.
Masquerade spotted proposing to girlfriend in Abia state
Somewhere in Abia state, a masquerade was spotted in one of its villages proposing to his girlfriend. The man could be seen in a multi-colored wool jumpsuit all covered up to his face while the young lady was seen in a short skirt and blouse.

I to could be recalled that many weeks back, a masquerade was spotted at a cyber café trying to check if his ‘maga’ has paid alongside some other Yahoo guys.
