A heartless father has abandoned his 3-year-old daughter, Ozillia Alex-Adjissi, at a hospital in Cross River state after she suffered severe burns in a tragic fire incident.
According to a Nigerian identified as, Etido Umoren, the little girl suffered the burns months ago in a fire incident that killed her mother and brother.
Umoren explained that he discovered the girl after she visited the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a Calabar hospital, where no one was caring for her.
She decided to inquire about the little girl’s situation when she was told that her father had stopped coming to see her about two months ago.

After listening to the little girl’s story, Umoren reached out to people for help to provide for the child’s care.
According to the Nation, Umoren’s call was heard by members of the Calabar-Municipal branch of the National Association of Seadogs (NAS).
