A Nigerian man who reportedly disappeared after his girlfriend got pregnant showed up surprisingly at the baptism of their baby, Emmanuel, in Benue state.
Rosemary Orachihi, the girlfriend, went through a lot has she was persuaded to terminate the pregnancy and made to face the music alone when she refused. Her boyfriend took off without a trace leaving her to bear the responsibility alone.
The touching story of Rosemary and Emmanuel was shared on Facebook by Ukan Kurugh. According to him, Rosemary was held down at the hospital about two months ago when she put to bed and was unable to clear the one hundred and twenty thousand naira bill set to her name.

But for the intervention of good Nigerians who came to her rescue, the poor lady might have been left to suffer alone. Kurugh, the poster of the news also played an active role in the process and was made the godfather of little Emmanuel.
The donation of items made by people helped the mother and child a great deal as they were able to bounce back real fast. However, Rosemary got the shock of her life when her boyfriend showed up unexpectedly at the baptism.

The father of the baby was described to be a black man in his late twenties or early thirties by Kurugh. The former introduced himself as Mr Cosmos Terhemen who bears the nickname2Black. Terhemen appreciated the effort of Kurugh who had taken care of his son and Rose. He also apologized for his behavior.

Kurugh said he took his time to give the young man some words of advice as he encouraged him to be a proud father. He urged him to do the necessary things and play his role. Kurugh also promised to hold a supervisory position in ensuring that he does the right thing.
Baby Emmanuel was baptized by Revd Father Emmanuel Gondo.
