A young Nigerian man identified as Salihu Dasuki has become the youngest senior lecturer at a prestigious university in the United Kingdom.
The 29-year-old lecturer was promoted to a senior lecturer of Information Systems on Monday, September 25, at Sheffield Hallam University.
Dasuki who was overjoyed by his achievement announced the promotion on his Twitter page. He thanked God for the opportunity.
He wrote: "By Allah's grace, not only am I the youngest, I resume teaching as a senior lecturer of computing at Sheffield Hallam University, UK."

NAIJ.com gathered that the young lecturer became an assistant lecturer at the age of 24 while he was in Nigeria.
It is no surprise that Dasuki was able to achieve the position he is in today. He graduated at the age of 21 with a first class degree in Information Technology from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU).

Dasuki bagged his masters degree and PhD at the Brunel University. In 2016, the young man was named among the 100 Arewa's people of the year.
