According to reports, a mysterious creature washed up on a Philippines beach recently, leaving beachgoers in shock.
SunUK reports that the unknown creature washed up at a beach in Maasin City on the Island of Leyte.
Julius Alpino, a staff of the Philippines Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, said the carcass couldn't exactly be identified as it was already decomposing. He said it could have been a whale.
Nujnuj Capistrano who photographed the creature, revealed how he spotted it while walking past the beach.

Capistrano said:
“I was just passing by the beach and took some photos but I don’t know about the details. I was surprised because it’s too big and it’s the first time I saw that kind of creature. I don’t know what they did with it but one thing is for sure, the creature was already dead when I saw it. The smell was too bad. I can’t describe it, but it was a bad smell.”
