- A new-born baby has been discovered in Kebbi after being dumped by her mother

- Attached with the baby was an emotional letter alleged to be written by the mother begging whoever picks up the baby to name her, Aisha

- The baby was found near Unity College in Kebbi state

A new-born baby who was dumped by the mother was recently discovered near Unity College in Kebbi state. The Hisbah force in Kebbi found the innocent, little child on December 22 and efforts to locate the parent proved abortive.

The photo of the baby was shared on social media alongside an emotional letter alleged to have been written by the mother pleading with anyone who picks up the child to name her Aisha.

So far, Director of the Hisbah, Alh Abubakar Muhammad Lanne Augie who confirmed the report said they have named the child as per the request of the mother but expressed disappointment that such an act could be carried out, especially by a new mother.

However, the mother expressed sadness over having to dump her baby which she revealed was safer outside than with her where her own mother had threatened both their livelihoods. She promised to get back to her baby, no matter how long and sent a prayer with the little girl.

According to the Hisbah force, this is the first time they will witness such an incident and are currently finding ways to help the young child survive.

Meanwhile, a baby who was abandoned by her father looks adorable in new photos shared on social media.
