A talented Nigerian woman identified as Olufunke Abimbola-Akindolie has been awarded as a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
Abimbola-Akindolie was given the honour by Queen Elizabeth II for her works in trying to help bring diversification into the legal profession.
She has been visiting schools and university campuses to help inspire the next generation about the practice of law.

In a Twiter post shared by the royal family, it was noted that Abimbola-Akindolie has been working on her project for years.
“For years Olufunke Abimbola-Akindolie has worked to help diversify the legal profession. She regularly goes into schools & universities to help inspire the next generation. Today she was awarded an #MBE.”
Becoming a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a way of honouring people who contribute to arts and sciences by doing charitable and public services.
