Four talented students of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) have constructed a quadcopter surveillance drone for their final year project. The four geniuses reportedly constructed the drone to conduct surveillance of the university campus.
Ekeh Isidore, Kizito Onyema, Aloysius Nwokedike and John Kennedy Kalu who are engineering department students are in their final year. The four students constructed the drone with materials they could find for the project.
It was gathered that the surveillance drone was made with a wood constructed controller and a First Person View (FPV) system in other for the drone pilot to see where it’s headed during surveillance. The surveillance would be recorded as a video footage of the campus in real time.

The students took their impressive creation for a spin and made a video of the drone as it flew around the campus recording everything.
