NAIJ.com had earlier reported that former president Olusegun Obasanjo had completed his PhD programme in Christian Theology at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).
President Muhammadu Buhari had also congratulated him on his feat writing that “Let me congratulate former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. You are indeed the father of open distance learning in Nigeria.”
To celebrate his achievement, a graduation party was thrown and close friends, associates and family members were all in attendance.

A highlight of the event was when Obasanjo and his wife Bola took to the dancefloor leaving many astounded by their moves.

Meanwhile, the erstwhile ex-president has revealed that despite his PhD, he doesn’t want to be called ‘Dr.’ instead; people should refer to him as ‘Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.’
