NAIJ.com earlier shared details of a wedding dress brouhaha that rocked the internet just as we welcomed 2018. A fashion designer allegedly jilted a bride and rented her intending wedding outfit to a Nigerian celebrity, Mercy Aigbe, who denied knowledge of the unfair bypass.

The entire internet was left soaked with sympathy for the bride whose wedding day was perceived to have been ruined given that she had no second dress to wear for her day, despite having paid in full for the service of a fashion designer.
Although, the said bride, Lawrentta Sawyer aka Rettypety, has dragged both the designer and Mercy Aigbe to court, her wedding which still held on December 30, was still a special and memorable event.
