Man shares story of how a Samaritan helped his friend's widow with monthly allowance even after he lost his job

- He started to give the woman a monthly allowance of N150k four years ago after his friend died

A Twitter user identified as Oghene Kevwe has shared the story of how a friend supported their late friend’s widow after he passed away four years ago. It was gathered that the man has been giving the woman N150k monthly.

According to Kevwe, their late friend passed away four years ago and left behind a daughter and wife. Kevwe explained that their other friend had been giving the widow monthly allowance since the incident.

Kevwe noted that he recently found out about the good deed after he ran into the woman who explained everything to him. He added that he could not keep in touch with the woman because he lost her contact.

The woman revealed to the Twitter user that the allowance increased to N190k after his friend got married and his wife added N40k to the monthly allowance. She also told him that she did not realise that the man had lost his job at a point because the money kept coming in.

She told Kevwe that she only found out after the man explained everything to her two years after he became stable.

The Twitter user also revealed that his late friend's widow is a pharmacist. He further revealed that the woman owns a big store.
