While the rest of the world partied their way into the New Year, a young Nigerian lady named Vivian Amarachi Lawrence chose to spend her day differently. The young philanthropist at heart shared photos of how she spent the first day of 2018 distributing food to the homeless.

The photos which are now making rounds on the internet have many other things inspired people to better the lives of the less privileged around her. Vivian who must have invoked the blessings of God on her life also dropped a prayer point as she shared the photos on her social media page.
Asking God to give her more so she can keep blessing lives, she said: "I decided to start my year by giving food to the beggars on the street,i can't stop giving God has given me a kind heart which giving is part of me I find joy putting smile on peoples face,Father Lord I ask that you bless me more so I can be a blessing to other's in 2018��"

Miss Vivian stepped out of her home after preparing packs of food and headed straight to hand them over to beggars sitting helplessly on the street.

For Vivian, feeding them was the best way to start 2018. As they collected the foods, the men, women and children were seen smiling at their New Year day saviour.

Meanwhile, celebrities like Mercy Aigbe partied into the New year amidst controversy surrounding an alleged stolen wedding dress which she used for birthday photo shoot.
