Such was the case of Don Wanny, a notorious kidnapper and Niger Delta militant. The young man, who was reported dead in November 2017, has his house demolished by the federal government.
Late Wanny’s home was demolished on Tuesday morning, January 9, at Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni local government area of the state.

Looking at the pictures of the house, the government made use of a tractor in demolishing the mansion. It was razed down to the ground and cannot be recognized by many who know the building.
It was earlier reported that the demolition took place under supervision of heavily-armed security agents, who mounted the guard at different angles of the militant’s extravagant home. An eye witness recounts that soldiers and policemen in over 15 Hilux vans were brought to the scene to stop any intruder from hindering their operation.
