Following the contract issues involving Toby Alderweireld and Tottenham, Chelsea, are ready to take advantage of the situation.
According to reports in British tabloids the former Atletico Madrid player will be the subject of a roughly €38m bid from the London club in the summer.
The Belgium international returned from a back injury and he has not been a part of Mauricio Pochettino's plans in Spurs.
