The England international has been constantly criticized in public by Mourinho and the latest was in the 2-0 win against Brighton in the FA Cup quarter finals.
Having been named in the PFA Team of the Year Shaw joined United from Southampton in the summer of 2014.
He hit the ground running with some impressive performances in his second campaign despite having a slow first season at Old Trafford.
However, a career-threatening leg break, cut short his season and did not kick the ball play again until Mourinho took over as manager.

With the way the situation is, Shaw who was billed as England’s future left-back, is almost certain to miss out on Gareth Southgate’s 23-man squad for Russia.
United will be looking to claim the bragging rights when they play a title deciding match against city rivals Manchester City at the Etihad at the weekend.
Mourinho's side will also face a tough test in their quest for a silverware this season when they lock horns with Tottenham in the FA Cup semis.
