Breaking: CAN general secretary Musa Asake dies in Abuja

The general secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Musa Asake, has died in Abuja after a brief illness.

His brother and former member of the House of Representatives, Jonathan Asake, told the Punch newspaper that the Musa died on Friday, morning, May 11.

“Yes, he died this morning, we are right now in the mortuary. I was with him yesterday (Thursday) in his house”, he stated.

Musa Asake's death comes about two weeks after he led a nationwide protest called by CAN against the killing of Christians by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
