Protesters are currently at the secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado Ekiti, capital of Ekiti state.
The Ekiti chapter of the party is embroiled in a crisis over the governorship primary election which held on Saturday, May 5, the Cable reports.

The exercise was disrupted while 27 of the 33 aspirants who took part in it are reportedly calling for a fresh primary.
Wielding placards and chanting different songs, the Cable reports that the protesters are asking the chairman of the party in the state, Jide Awe, to step down.
