Due to technology, buying and selling was made easy through the use of applications that helps users buy easily online without much stress. Despite the fact that the development of technology made things easy, many believe that it has made life hard for those who were earning through the services that are now done online.
A Nigerian man has narrated the story of how he came across a struggling nursing mother who sells recharge card. The man identified as Ikeliani Scotty Izuu stated that the woman doesn't make any profit because people don't patronize her.
The man had recounted how he started a conversation with the nursing mother. He stated that she revealed to him that she makes a gain of N20 to N50 per day on the recharge card she sells.
He said: "I use to recharge my line directly from bank account but not until I met this woman this morning. She sells recharge cards... I had a conversation with her today and she wept bitterly. She told me she make gain of N20 - N50 after a day hustle....tears almost drop my cheeks."

According to him, the woman started to lose gain on her market after people started purchasing recharge card online or through banking appilications.
The young man who confessed that he was also guilty of purchasing recharge cards online, stated that he would stop doing so.
He also urged Nigerians to go back to patronizing hawkers and recharge card sellers. He stated that the only way to help people is to uplift them instead of enriching banks and people who are already successful.
