Real Madrid are ready to battle rival Barcelona for the signing of Tottenham attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen, the Sun, quoting Marca.
The Denmark international has been a long-time target for the Nou Camp outfit, who even tried to sign him as youth team player during his academy days with Ajax.
With Andres Iniesta leaving the Catalan side, it was thought Braca would make a serious bid to land him this summer.

However, Spanish media outlet Marca, claim they are likely to face serious competition from eternal rivals with Real Madrid who are also interested.
It is claimed the Galaticos want him as long-term replacement for Luka Modric who Eriksen effectively took over from the midfielder at Tottenham.
The 33-year-old has been integral to Real Madrid's unprecedented success over the past five years in the Champions League.
The Spanish club have won four the last five competitions, including three consecutive success, with the Croatian finishing fifth in the 2017 Ballon d'Or list.

Los Blancos usually make a "Galactico" signing at the end of a World Cup, and Eriksen could well prove himself as worthy candidate, having scored a hat-trick in the play-off win over the Republic of Ireland.
