- Lyon striker Nabil Fekir could be on his way to Real Madrid this summer
- Los Blancos want to make him as an alternative in case they fail to sign Mohamed Salah
- Liverpool may not allow the Egypt international to leave Anfield at the end of the season
Lyon striker Nabil Fekir has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Spanish club Real Madrid should they fail to land Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
Real Madrid are looking for a new front-man that will lead their attack next season, and Mohamed Salah has been their main target.
But Liverpool chiefs are said to be asking for a fee in excess of £176m (€200m) which Los Blancos may find it difficult to pay this summer.
According to El Gol Digital, who are renowned for making outlandish transfer claims, Real Madrid are now looking at cheaper options.
The report claimed that Los Blancos chiefs see Nabil Fekir as a good option that will be of help upfront to Cristiano Ronaldo next season.
But over the weekend, there were reports that Liverpool have agreed to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon before the start of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Previously, NAIJ.com had reported how Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah reportedly picked jersey number 11 should he move to Spanish side Real Madrid at the end of the ongoing football League season in Europe.
The number 11 jersey at Real Madrid is currently worn by Gareth Bale, and Salah's reported decision is said to have caused serious arguments at the Bernabeu.
What it means is that former Tottenham star Gareth Bale will have to leave Real Madrid or change his jersey number if Salah makes the move this summer.
