Italian Serie side AS Roma have reportedly told Liverpool to pay a sum of £78.3m (€90 m) to land their number one goalkeeper Alisson this summer.
The Premier League side are in the market shopping for a goalkeeper after Loris Karius made two expensive mistakes in their 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League in Kiev last weekend.
And the Brazilian shot stopper seems to have attracted Jurgen Klopp’s attention with his performances for his present club despite losing to the Reds 7-6 on aggregate in the semifinal stage of the UEFA top tier competition.
However, Alisson has three more years on his current contract with the Giallorossi after joining them from Internacional in 2016.

The mirror citing the Guardian claims that Liverpool must pay a record fee of £78.3 million for the 25-year-old this summer.
Meanwhile, 24-year-old German goalkeeper Loris Karius has been offered a one-year contract offer from Italian minnows Rimini after his Champions League blunders.
But Rimini president Giorgio Grassi has offered to help Karius recover from his howlers and "rediscover his calm, self-belief and strength to follow his dreams."
“On June 22, Loris Karius will turn 25 years old. I would like to host the German goalkeeper for a few days in Rimini, a welcoming town that has always been frequented by his fellow countrymen and women,” Rimini president Giorgio Grassi wrote in an open letter.
