“Now it's time to enjoy this. In the next few days I'll give the fans, who have been by my side, an answer. It's been great being at Real Madrid,” he said after the final whistle in Kiev.

“I'll speak in the next few days. Now it's time to enjoy the moment. The future of any player isn't important. We've made history.”

Zinedine Zidane's side won their third straight European title in a row, and their fourth in five years to make it a total of 13 trophies.

But despite the remarkable feat, Ronaldo could leave in the summer and his mother Dolores Aveiro has suggested where to go.

She said: “I like Paris. I come every now and again.

“The last time was when my son received the Ballon d'Or.

“It was a great honour. When I arrived I was treated well by everyone.

“Convince Cristiano to sign for PSG? To be honest, it wouldn't annoy me [if he did].

“But I would prefer him to return to Manchester United.”

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that teammate Gareth Bale is angry Ronaldo is talking about leaving the Spanish capital.

The Wales international came off the bench as a second half substitute to scored a brace and secure a 3-1 victory over Jurgen Klopp's side.

The Welshman was awarded the man-of-the-match and he also stated unless he is guaranteed first team football next season he would leave the club.
