Music legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti's first child, Yeni, has become a grandmother after her only daughter welcomed a bouncing baby boy. A photo of Yeni holding her newborn grandson with a huge smile on her face surfaced on social media.
NAIJ.com came across the cute photo of the new grandma holding the newborn baby as she smiled for the camera. The photo was shared by Yeni's younger brother Femi Kuti on his Instagram page.
On the Instagram post, Femi Kuti congratulated his elder sister and her whole family. He stated that his 56-year-old sister is now officially a grandmother.
He said: "@YeniAKuti my eldest sister YK power now officially a grandmother congratulations to u and our whole family most especially my niece and her husband ❤️❤️❤️."

Oluwayeni Anikulapo Kuti who is Fela Kuti's first child is a dancer and singer. She developed the idea of Felabration, a musical festival that was launched to celebrate the life of Fela Kuti. She was was born on May 22, 1961.
