Naledi Phafane is only 15-year-old but she has already been a game changer in the South African technology industry.
It was gathered that in 2016, Phafane won the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality Hackathon with the genius app she designed. Phafane's genius mobile app which aims to reduce traffic congestion, recently helped her win the grand prize of R100 000 (N2.8 million).
The talented young girl disclosed that: “The mobile application reduces traffic congestion in big cities which are faced with a lot of traffic problems."

Since then, Phafane has established herself as a successful young entrepreneur by launching her companies. She is the founder of Spectrum and the co-founder of VulaRobot and Moval.
“I have always had interest in business which pushed me to enter business competitions,” Pretoria East Rekord reported she said last year.
However, the traffic congestion app is not the only genius mobile application she developed- she also designed one that could help with the South African proof of residence issue.
