Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has reportedly been forced to change his phone number following threats over his challenge on Mohamed Salah in the Champions League final.
Sergio Ramos and Mohamed Salah had a tussle in Kiev in the Champions League final which forced the Liverpool star to be substituted in the first half with a shoulder injury.
The injury has also put Salah's campaign in the 2018 World Cup in serious doubt although Egypt officials expect him to recover just in time for the opening game against Uruguay on June 15.
Many football fans and pundits believe Sergio Ramos intentionally injured Mohamed Salah and he has been called different names on social media.
Even a petition to get him retrospectively banned for the challenge has now passed half a million signatures.
According to the report by to COPE Network and made available by UK Mirror, both Ramos and his family have been receiving threats meaning they have all had to change their numbers.
The report also stated that Sergio Ramos has also been threatened to be killed by anonymous caller.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Egyptian lawyer Bassem Wahba reportedly filed a €1 billion law suit against Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos for his challenge on Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah in the final of the 2017/18 Champions League.
The legal practitioner is livid with the way Sergio tackled the Egypt international which ended his night in Kiev and also put Salah in serious doubt for the forthcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
