Following the report about the release of about 82 Chibok girls, we have been able to track the progress of some lucky girls who jumped out of the truck which took over 200 school girls.
Mercy and Patience were among the fortunate ones who escaped from the terrorizing claws of the Boko Haram when they jumped out of the moving truck that took over 200 school girls on Apirl 14, 2014.
Unlike the others who were held captive by the dreadful sect, the two Chibok girls had the opportunity of moving on with life and not experiencing half of the trauma their peers went through and are still going through.
These Chibok girls have started schooling in the US.
The two Chibok girls met Jackson Ude on Saturday, May 6. The man took to his Twitter page to express his opinion about the abduction after talking to the girls.

They have started schooling at Bronx Community College in the US, this is a project under Education Must Continue Initiative.

One of the girls narrated her experience; she explained how she jumped out of the moving truck that night.
"What happened that night was terrible. We were writing our final exams. They came to our school,dressed in military uniforms, so we didn't know they were Boko Haram. They wanted us to get in the truck and told us they were going to protect us. But they started shooting. All the teachers ran away. I thought I was going to die. They came with a very long truck and loaded all of the food and the girls. As we moved deeper into a forest, some of the girls were jumping out of the truck. I turned to my friend and told her her we should jump tow. We jumped and disappeared into the forest, but my friend hurt her ankle and couldn't walk. We met a shepherd who helped us with his bycycle. And then a man in a motorcycle took us home."
