NAIJ.com exclusively gathered that a young man was caught trying to steal mobile phones from a boutique somewhere in Ajogodor in Sapele, Delta state.
According to a report sent in by a NAIJ.com reader, the thief was caught trying to steal a smartphone barely hours after one was already stolen from the boutique.
The suspected thief was said to have walked into the boutique pretending to buy a singlet, but ended up picking up the phone and walking out when he noticed the sales girl wasn't looking.
He was caught after the sales girl upon noticing the phone was missing, ran out in time to see him attempting to board a commercial motorcycle.

According to the reader, here's what happened:
"The guy was caught in a boutique stealing mobile phone in Ajogodor, Sapele, Delta state. The guy entered the boutique, he said he wanted to buy a singlet, of which he did not buy anything, he just picked the phone and walked out.
Before he entered okada, the sales girl just noticed the phone was missing and she quickly rushed outside and saw the the thief about entering okada.Then she held him and saw the mobile phone (Techno Canon C9), wrapped in a cellophane in the guy's pocket.
That is when she shouted before the area people came and ordered the guy to lie in that dirty water. And yesterday they stole one phone in the store too, God so kind today the thief was caught."
