It appears that Nigerian parents are now following the trends on social media, as most of them buy phones or gadgets that would enable them make use of Facebook and WhatsApp.
On Monday, June 19, a young man identified as Adegoke Pamilerin took to his Twitter account to disclose how his mother exposed him after pretending to be asleep.
According to his post, Pamilerin mentioned how his mother came into his room and gave him a slap for pretending to be sleeping while she saw him on WhatsApp a minute ago.

He disclosed that: “My mum entered my room &found me asleep. She Walked closer, caressed my hair & slapped my face saying 'ur last seen on WhatsApp was 1min ago.”
