A Nigerian pastor identified as Emmanuel Newman Edward has gone viral after he shared a controversial post on his social media page.
Edward who identified himself as Senior Apostle at Faith Tabernacle prophetic ministries, Overseer at Mercy House church INTL, Uyo Branch, and General Overseer/Senior Pastor at Newlife Christian Center INC wrote on his page that rich men who do not help men of God will have their lives end in 2018.
He added that men of God are suffering and they need the help of people who are well-to-do in the society.
In addition to his post, he urged people to pray for their pastors as they are also human beings who need prayers like the members too.

"Rules for 2018: if you're a Rich man an you don't have the heart of helping pastor's out..you will die before 2019!!

Meanwhile, a Nigerian lady has shared her opinions on top pastors in Nigeria. According to her post, religious leaders like Pastor Adebayor, Pastor Chris, TB Joshua and other popular pastors in Nigeria are not living up to the expectation of God.

She said that instead of being selfish and reaping off the sweats of their followers, they should emulate Christ and become be a true leader so as to enter the kingdom of God.
