It was gathered that Keith Limbert, from Yorkshire in the UK, first took driving lessons in his youth but never made it to the test stage.

His 79-year-old wife, Anne, effectively chauffeured him for 40 years during their 58-year marriage.

Unfortunately, Anne suffered a major stroke in 2015 and thus could no longer drive. She was also diagnosed with breast cancer 18 months ago and has to make regular visits to the hospital.

Keith therefore decided to take up driving lessons again in order to chauffeur his dear wife. He passed his test on his first try. One can say, once there's a will, there's always a way.

Speaking to Unilad, Keith said:

"My wife drove me around for 40 years. She would take me to race meetings and that meant I could have a drink… or two."

"I was chauffeur driven to be honest. She’s looked after me long enough and I think it’s about time for me to look after her now. I owe her."
