Over the years, there have been issues about Africans wanting foreigners to dominate top managerial positons in their companies and leaving their own people to take up menial jobs.
A young man identified as Young Black King (@pyepar) on Twitter, has taken to social media to reveal how a popular hotel in Uganda reserved hotel and restaurant manager posts for foreigners.
While placing a newspaper advert, Serene Suites and Hotel in Mutundwe, Uganda disclosed that: “Employment opportunities. Serene Suites and Hotel located in Mutundwe, Rubaga division Kampala is seeking to recruit eligible persons to work as; Hotel manager preferably white person, Restarant manager preferably Indian person, Waiters and waitresses, Kitchen chef, Concierge, Receptionists, Pool attendant, Gym instructor, House keepers, outside cleaners, Marketers, Social media manager, Car driver, Boda Boda motorcycle rider, Masseur, Saloon attendant and much more.”

@pyepar shared the post with the caption: “Just another day in Uganda.” This post has gathered a lot of reactions in Twitter as the young man further disclosed that: “Imagine us Ugandans qualify to be gardeners but only white people should apply to be managers.”
One of his followers said: “This should be deemed illegal in every African country with the Black majority, how do you apply for a job that already discriminates against you in the advertisement.”
