According to the woman who shared her views on Twitter, schools in Nigeria begin at 8:00am every day and close by 4:00pm and after school students are still expected to work on assignments and do extra lessons.

Cynthia stated that even when students should be resting and playing or learning creative activities during the holidays they are sent to schools for summer lessons. She further stated that school and church has become the only social setting for Nigerian kids.
