It appears that the issue of domestic violence will not easily come to an end. Despite warnings from government and corporate organizations, this menace is yet to be a thing of the past.
A young lady identified as Joan Ukeri (@Joan_Ukeri) on Twitter has taken to her hand to reveal how she moved out of her matrimonial home.
Ukeri disclosed that she moved out of her matrimonial home due to domestic violence. In her post, she advised women never to think this menace will stop but it will only kill if one is not careful.

Her post reads: “Finally being brave and letting go of a violent husband and an abusive marriage, domestic violence can't be cured, it only kills.” Instead of being criticised for leaving her marriage, Ukeri received a lot of congratulatory messages from other women on social media

One Dr Ajab said: “A bad man is bad man no amount of care you show will change him, only God can do that. I don't know what you're going through and why you take this decision but everything needs prayer and patience especially in marriage. No marriage is 100% perfect. I wish you the best.”
